‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin Hit with Tax Lien

Actor and retired professional wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has been body-slammed by California tax authorities with a $22,000 tax lien.

Austin, 44, who was born Steven Anderson and later known as Steven Williams, had the lien placed on his Malibu home on June 10, according to the Detroit News. However, the tax people may have to update their records because Austin sold the home last year for $2.49 million.

Austin was known for his signature move, the Stone Cold Stunner, and for feuding with World Wrestling Entertainment chairman Vince McMahon. He appeared in the movies “The Longest Yard” and “The Condemned” and the TV shows “Nash Bridges” and “The Bernie Mac Show.” He has two movies scheduled to open next year, the Sylvester Stallone action picture, “The Expendables,” and a fight film, “Damage.”
