Nicolas Cage’s Ex Sues Him and His Former Accountant

Actor Nicolas Cage’s ex-girlfriend has filed suit against him and his former accountant accusing them of fraud and breach of contract.

Former actress Christina Fulton, 42, who is the mother of Cage’s 18-year-old son, is suing Cage for $13 million, claiming that she now owes more than $1 million to the IRS due to the negligence of Cage and his former business manager and accountant, Samuel Levin. She also has $250,000 in unpaid credit card debt, according to People.com.

Cage also filed suit in October against Levin for $20 million, claiming that Levin led him “down a path toward financial ruin.” Cage owes more than $6 million in taxes to the IRS, and he claimed that Levin put him in highly speculative and risky real estate investments on which Cage suffered “catastrophic losses.”

Levin countersued Cage, claiming that he had tried to warn the actor against his “compulsive, destructive spending” and encouraged him to sell off a dozen automobiles and a $1.6 million comic book collection to support his lavish lifestyle.

Fulton blames Cage’s financial problems for losing her home. She said she believed the home where she and her son have lived was under her name until Cage served her with a 60-day eviction notice in September. Cage has been in the process of selling off several of his homes to pay off his tax debts. His lawyer called the lawsuit ridiculous and claimed that Cage has been paying Fulton $3 million a year in child support.
