IBM and ADP Team on TaxServices

IBM and ADP have joined forces to expand the availability of ADP TaxServices tax and compliance software to more types of businesses.

The collaboration will enable ADP to expand its tax-filing offerings to new markets serving employers of all sizes. By implementing IBM Cast Iron integration software, ADP aims to help clients more efficiently perform their tax-filing processes. IBM acquired Cast Iron Systems in May.

“Our clients’ use of IBM Cast Iron integration software will help to ensure those clients can take advantage of ADP TaxServices’ hassle-free payroll tax-filing system, while also expanding the integration of our on-demand TaxServices with more on-premise payroll software and ERP payroll systems,” said ADP tax and financial services general manager and division vice president Lori Schreiber.

The Cast Iron integration provides connectors to unite different payroll applications with ADP TaxServices. Drag-and-drop mapping between company payroll applications and ADP TaxServices can enable the translation of alphanumeric and numeric data in different applications. In addition, business logic can detect corrupted data in a payroll system and notify the system administrator before the data is transferred to ADP.
