LarsonAllen Merges in Davis, Keller and Wiggins

Accounting firm LarsonAllen has combined with yet another firm - Davis, Keller and Wiggins - expanding its presence in the St. Louis area and its automobile dealership client base.

DKW brings 25 additional people to LarsonAllen's St. Louis office. LarsonAllen has 1,400 employees and $203 million in annual revenues. The Minneapolis-based firm ranks 19th on Accounting Today's list of the Top 100 Firms.

The firm has offices in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C., and is an independent member of the Nexia International network. LarsonAllen merged with Schreiner, Legge & Co. in the D.C. area in July. Last November, it announced plans to merge with three other firms: Osborne Hicks of Mankato, Minn.; Rust, Christopher & Co., of Naples, Fla.; and Schultz, Chaipel, Redovan, Baker & Co., of Naples and Fort Myers, Fla.

The latest merger will help LarsonAllen build its footprint even further. "We've had a longstanding working relationship with DKW, and it's a natural fit with our shared automotive client base," said LarsonAllen dealership principal Terry Werner in a statement. "The combined firm will dramatically expand the depth of our industry expertise and improve our practice development reach."

DKW partner Dave Wiggins and co-founder Dave Keller said the merger would give their employees greater career opportunities. Along with automobile dealers, DKW's other clientele are in the manufacturing, health care, construction, real estate and nonprofit industries, all of which are also practice areas within LarsonAllen.
