In a move to help educate the accounting community aboutthe benefits of cloud computing, financial and ERP suite provider NetSuite haspartnered with the Institute of Management Accountants.
NetSuite and the IMA will explore the benefits ofcloud-based financial solutions and related topics as part of the"Transformational CFO" educational series through live seminars,webinars, white papers and published research.
The Transformational CFO program is immediately availableto all IMA members. The first webinar, titled "Financial Executive Panel:What the Cloud Means to the Finance Organization," is scheduled for Sept.22.
Three CFOs on the panel will share their first-handexperience and best practices in moving from pre-Web client server technologiesto new cloud-based business management software suites. Panelists include:David Bosher, senior vice president and CFO at job Web site SnagAJob.com;Michael Metz, CFO at medication information and data solutions providerLexi-Comp Inc.; and Will Gregerson, CFO at Schaeffer Manufacturing Co.
Last month NetSuite announced the creation of anaccountants network program to enlist them as recommenders.
